Paul, a 19-year-old youth, está cumprindo o serviço militar, but deserts from the army when returning from a military maneuver. He hides in his parent’s bungalow in the middle of nothing in the province of Hesse. While his parents are on vacation, Paul grows more and more apathic. But when Max – his older brother – and his girlfriend Lene arrive, tension grows between both brothers. Although it is difficult to understand Paul’s actions, it is equally difficult for him to escape from his lack of objectives.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Ulrich Köhler was born in Marburg/Lahn, in 1969. He studied art at Quimper, France (1989-1991) and philosophy in Hamburg. He also studied Visual Communication at the Hochschule für bildende Künste (1998). Ulrich Köhler directed Montag kommen die Fenster (2006).
