In an Algeria under integrist fanaticism, the nurse Khadija decides to follow Amel, a young physicians who is seeking her husband, a journalist hijacked by terrorists. At the end of a long search, both women discover their own friendship and have to face the contradictions of men.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Djamila Sahraoui was born in Algeria in 1950. She studied literature in Argel and film direction at the IDHEC, Paris. This is her first film; it has been shown in a number of festivals, such as the Festival des films du Monde de Montréal (2006), London, Berlin (Forum, 2006), Melbourne, Rotterdam, Stockholm, and others.
