Young Lulu lives with her depressive, half hypochondriac and self-centered mother. One day, Lulu finds an old picture showing her mother at the age of 20 years, in the arms of an unknown man; she is happy and radiant as Lulu has never seen her. Lulu decides to find him and bring him back in the hope that her mother might regain a taste for life.

Carine Tardieu is a writer and director of two short films: Les Baisers des autres (2002) and L'aine de mes soucis (2004), which won many festivals. This is her first feature film.
