Divided into three segments – penance, loss and ignorance – this film pictures the United States of America. In the first episode, Gene does everything to have his girlfriend back, even if it means being beaten with a tennis racket. In the second episode, Pearl, an 8-year-old orphan, accidentally eats a cake containing marihuana and goes on a trip seeking a fairy. In the last episode, Ralph, a rich person, discovers that he does not know any Afro-American person, and goes out in search of one.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Chusy (Anthony Haney-Jardine) is a director and screenwriter; he was born and raised in Venezuela, but has lived in Europe, Latin America (including Brazil) and currently in the USA. He has worked as a translator, attendant in a DVD rental store, marketing rep, art director and teacher. His first short film, Money Park, was made as part of a project of the American Film Institute. This is his first feature film, which was first shown in the Sundance Festival (2008) and received the Special Jury Award.
