It is 1997. Cale, Jason, and Nicole are awake in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The city is tormented by rebellion in its south side after an Afro-American youth was shot by a white police officer. A brief look at the local school reveals a drunk president and a student carrying a Magnum 357. A film about growing up and disappearing, about innocence, suicide and racial tension. About being alone, about preservation by destruction.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Chris Fuller was born in 1982, in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He started writing the screenplay of Loren Cass at the age of 15 years, and has been finalizing it in the past three years. He founded his own production company, Jonesing Pictures, in 2001. This film has been selected for a number of international festivals such as those in Locarno, Helsinki, Viennale, Ljubljana and the Gijon International Film Festival.
