A metafilm based on the relation between the director and his father. At the beginning of the 80s in the Philippines, Rodolfo Torres builds a successful career as an author and seller of self-help books. When the empire collapses, his family discovers that Torres has another wife and children. In this journey, John Torres explores the periphery and recesses of the body, of geography and of time, crossing the spaces of revelation, films and the heart.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
John Torres was born in the Philippines, in 1975. He graduated in Communication at the Ateneo University, Manila. In 2006, John Torres received various awards for his film Todo Todo Teros. His second film was supported by the Hubert Bals Fund and has been shown at the Rotterdam Festival (2008) and the o International Forum of New Cinema (Berlinale).
