Monika, Tonik and Dasha grew up together in the same tenement houses in the suburbs of a small industrial city in the Czech Republic. Now the childhood friends are adults, each one making a living their own way. They do not admit it, but each one wants something that the other has: love, family, and children. Hiding these wishes causes in them various feelings, inferiority complexes and emotional attitudes.

Bohdan Slama was born in 1967, Opava, Czech Republic. He graduated in the Prague Cinema School (FAMU) in 1997. He directed the short film Zahradka raje (1994) and his first feature film, Divoke Vcely in 2002.
