Lukas is a lost youth who lives in Los Angeles; he tries to bury his problems in the tedious routine of a tollbooth attendant. A sudden and unexpected meeting with a Holocaust survivor opens to him a new world and an identity that he embraces with frightening intensity: that of World War II victim Jews. A non-Jew, Lukas begins to act his recently found obsession.

Gil Kofman was born in Nigeria and grew in Kenya and New York. He graduated in physics and also studied the cinema and the theater; he has produced a number of plays. This is his first feature film.
